Honestly, with 10% unemployment, shouldn’t he be having unemployment summits instead of health care summits? I know I’d rather have a job and no healthcare than healthcare and no job.

They also say burglaries are way down since Obama nobody is working so burglars cant burglarize homes like they did but would this have been the way they would have reported Bush with a 10.2 unemployment rate?

Since your are a Contractor, meaning self employed, unless you paid into Unemployment Insurance Plan, you are NOT eligible to collect

My company is closing their NY offices this summer and moving across the country. They have requested that I move with them, and have offered to cover the cost of the move. However, for both personal and family reasons, I may be unable to make this move. If I am unable to move with them, am I eligible for unemployment benefits?

I believe if it’s more than 50 miles, they have to pay your unemployment.

I have horrible anxiety and I fear something horrible will happen if I work that day. I’ve had customers curse at me, call me a bitch, get angry. If I get fired for calling out that day due to anxiety, can I collect unemployment, as it wasn’t my fault?
